Ok, so I'm back from Las Vegas. It was a good trip, I had a lot of fun, and got to hang out with a lot of people that I either have not met in person, Erin and Bert, and others that I had not seen in quite a while, Rob and Kelle. Oh, and Vince and Michelle, too. They dont fall into either of the previous categories.
It all kind of fell together quickly and efficiently, and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. Most of us had been there before, the only exceptions were Vince and Michelle. E and B had their honeymoon there, and I'm not sure when R and K had been (I guess they've been there before...)
Anyway, E, B, R, and K all stayed at the Luxor. M, V, and I stayed at the New York, New York hotel. So, let's see, that takes my hotels to Stardust twice (imploded), Hacienda (imploded), Luxor Pyramid, and NYNY. I decided to try and stay at different hotels since the second trip on, and kept true to that. So, we all arranged to meet in LV on a Friday, June 26, and go from there. There was no plan, we had nothing scheduled to do. So, we had fun.
M, V, and I were there until the following Monday, and I think M and V had more fun than I did, since they were getting that "OMG VEGAS" first time feeling, but I still had a blast.
There are pictures out there on various Facebook pages, but not mine. I took a camera with me but ended up with a total of 5 pictures. 2 in each airport, and 1 in my hotel room. Ok, so I'm not a photojournalist.
An interesting sidenote, though. On Monday of this week I recieved an email from the MGM Mirage group. They are offering me 3 free nights in August. I'm going to take them up on that offer, but I'm still wondering how I was chosen to get this.
